Ours is a traditional United Methodist worship service with singing, scripture reading, and a message relating to the scripture. We offer communion the first Sunday of the month and it’s perfectly fine if people come up to receive communion or remain in their seats. We leave the offering plates in the back near the entrance and do not pass them during the service. There’s usually a children’s message where we invite any willing children to come and sit near the altar around the speaker. We heartily welcome the sounds and expressions of children in the sanctuary during the worship service!
